Review of VULTURE in the journal Conservation Biology: “This enthusiastic volume nicely proves that Turkey Vultures are spokesbirds for vultures and indicates new avenues for raptor studies in a rapidly changing world. This book should be on the shelves of ecologists, ornithologists, and conservationists.”
Two of Katie’s books are featured on The Half-Earth Project’s list of “Great Readings in Biodiversity,” alongside writers such as E.O. Wilson, Edward Abbey, Janisse Ray, J. Drew Lanham, Aldo Leopold, and Rachel Carson. Read the list here.
